UnivAQ has a long tradition in Software Engineering research and development. Thanks to his competence, the Software Engineering and Architecture Group has been invited to nationally-strategic programmes, such as the model-driven re-engineering of the Rete Italiana Ferroviaria (RFI -the Italianrailways infrastructure manager) system, as well as the Uffizi Galleries system engineering.

LUT (FI)

LUT has as a university emphasizes strongly sustainable development. The former Trailblazers strategy and recently published System Earth strategy requires each and every programme and research team to consider sustainability effects. Software engineering department has combined software engineering and sustainability already for the last 7 years and this SE4GD provides a means for strengthening that approach.

VUA (NE)

VUA has been focusing on Connected World and Science for Sustainability themes. As digitalization and globalization bring people closer to each other it is important that we can voice our social worries, including sustainable future, which differ based on our past, language, religion or culture. This fits nicely with the goals of SE4GD in which we give the voice to the people, citizens.

Chalmers University of Technology conducts research and offers education in technology, science, architecture, and maritime engineering. Making an impact for a sustainable future.

AAU (DK)

Aalborg University (AAU) is characterized by problem-oriented project work. The Aalborg problem-based learning (PBL) model is recognized internationally, and UNESCO has placed its only Danish chair for PBL at Aalborg University.

HFU (DE)

As one of Germany’s leading universities, Furtwangen University (HFU) is recognised for its excellence in the following areas: engineering, computer science, information systems and management, business administration and engineering, media, international business and health. Furtwangen University’s core focus is on employment-oriented education and training based on academic principles. Lappeenranta was awarded the Green Leaf City award for 2021. Lappeenranta is also the city for the main campus of LUT University.
