The original SE4GD programme has ended in August 2026 and there will be no new intakes for the programme. However, we are renewing the programme contents and partners, and will reapply for a new improved SE4GD+ programme for next year. The new programme will open as soon as EU accepts that.
Meanwhile, you may contact Sunway University in Malaysia and University of Lagos in Nigeria and ask about the regional hubs that aim to provide similar experiences locally in Asian and African region. LUT University also has a software engineering program that links with the above-mentioned regional hubs of SE4GD and aim to build double degrees among these universities.
A truly sustainable future requires us to understand challenges at local to global levels, from farms to industries, and from companies to individuals. We must innovate, design, and implement solutions that enable a green and inclusive transition, ensuring that no one is left behind.

The SE4GD program educates experts to innovate, design, and implement software-based solutions with sustainability in mind for both local and global challenges. Our graduates will impact individuals, societies, industries, and governments by developing systems in new, responsible ways.
NOTE: The Erasmus Mundus Software Engineers for Green Deal (SE4GD) program will not have an intake in 2025 for scholarship students. We aim to open our programme for applications from self-funded students in 2026. Stay tuned for more information.
